How can I get the labels off pill bottles once I use the pills? Walgreens says my name and address is on the label and I don't want to just put the bottle with label on it in the garbage. any suggestions appreciated.

A little paranoid are we? You afraidt he FBI is going to go through your trash and find you? lol seriously I don't know. Myabe stick it in the freezer and then after about 30 minutes the paper should peel off easier.

Or stick it in warm water and tease the wet labels away from the bottles. The bottles're rinsed out anyway once they're returned to the chemists (in an ideal world we should all return them after we've finished with them anyway.)

had identity theft already and wanted to get labels off. The person who did this to me lives in another state. Ran up a $3500 phone bill and a small electric bill in his or her state. Cops said I was lucky the person didn't buy a house or car with my name. Identity theft is a real mess to straighten out. Thanks for the suggestions. Did not know the bottles were reused.

I'm not sure about the states, but you should really return them to the chemists/pharmacy here in Britain as they are sometimes reused.
